How does Splintex work?

SPLINTEX Splinter Removal Gel is a topical drawing agent, formulated with glycerol and magnesium sulfate. Splintex works by osmosis, creating a moisture imbalance that naturally pulls the foreign body toward the skin’s surface, the same way a sponge draws water – making it easier to remove without discomfort or pain. Glycerol is a humectant that attracts water, softening the skin and helps the drawing process. 

APPLY IN TWO EASY STEPS:

Apply gel (about 5mm thick) to the affected area and cover with a band-aid/non adhesive dressing

Change the dressing after 12-24 hours and repeat if necessary
